The ASUS ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 OC Edition 32GB GDDR7 is a new ASUS graphics card built on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, with 32 GB GDDR7 of dedicated video memory. It is built for 4K gaming with ray tracing turned on, and for heavy creative work such as 3D rendering, high-resolution video editing and local AI tools.
About this card
ROG Astral is the top tier of ASUS Republic of Gamers cards, built around a large cooler and premium board components. GeForce RTX 50 Series cards use the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. In supported games they can use DLSS 4, including Multi Frame Generation, along with hardware ray tracing. For creators, they support CUDA-accelerated apps and NVIDIA Studio drivers, and the built-in NVENC encoder handles AV1 video.
Check before you order
- Size: 357.6 x 149.3 x 76 mm. Compare the length with the maximum GPU length your case allows, leaving room for front fans or a radiator.
- Slot width: 3.8 slots. The card covers the slots below its own, so check that it will not block a card or M.2 heatsink you need.
- Power connectors: 1 x 16-pin. Make sure your power supply has the right cables, or use the adapter supplied with the card.
- Power supply: 1000 W or more is recommended for a typical system with this card.
- Motherboard slot: PCIe 5.0. The card also works in older PCIe x16 slots, at slightly lower bandwidth.
- Display outputs: 3 x DisplayPort 2.1b; 2 x HDMI 2.1b. Plan your monitor cables around these ports.
